The English novel Frankenstein In Baghdad is about the life story of a person named Hadi, who is engaged in hand-selling in the city of Baghdad. In order to take revenge on those who were killed in the bombing of Iraq in 2005, Hadi decides to make a body from the bodies of the dead people so that the government recognizes it and bury it properly. But with the disappearance of the body, very strange murders cover the city. After hearing the news that the body was shot but he is not dead, Hadi comes to the conclusion that he created a monster and he needs human flesh to survive. The novel Frankenstein in Baghdad won the Booker Arabic Prize in 2014.
